Asp Isotopes Inc.
A maker of isotope-enrichment technology, Asp Isotopes separates rare forms of elements used in nuclear medicine, quantum computing, and next-generation nuclear fuel (HALEU), and it also produces liquid helium and LNG in South Africa. Its name comes from its Aerodynamic Separation Process, a technology born from South Africa's former nuclear program and refined for decades by the company Klydon, which Asp Isotopes acquired after founding in 2021. A fun quirk: the same enrichment know-how once tied to weapons-grade work now fuels peaceful uses, from medical imaging to the helium that keeps magnets cool.
