A digital-first, FDIC-insured bank headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland, Forbright lends to middle-market businesses and offers online savings accounts and certificates of deposit, with a special focus on financing solar energy, green building upgrades, affordable housing, and healthcare. It began life in 2003 as Congressional Bank, serving the Washington, D.C. area, and was rebranded to Forbright in 2022 under former U.S. congressman John Delaney.
