Calatlantic Group, Inc.

A homebuilder that constructed houses across the United States under the consumer brand CalAtlantic Homes, offering homes ranging from entry-level to luxury. It was born in 2015 from a "merger of equals" between two veteran builders, Standard Pacific (founded in 1961) and Ryland Homes (founded in 1967). The name "CalAtlantic" was chosen to signal the company's reach "from coast to coast" — "Cal" for its California roots and "Atlantic" for the East Coast. In 2018 the company was folded into Lennar, another major homebuilder.
