These are ARK Israel Innovative Technology ETF's own holdings, not the firm's. Percentages are of the stock positions in its latest filing — the fund's cash and bonds are not included. The portfolio here holds Israeli companies whose main business is genomics, health care, biotechnology, manufacturing or information technology — firms incorporated and domiciled in Israel that are pushing those fields forward. They are carried in equal weight inside a single benchmark, the ARK Israeli Innovation Index, which ARK's own index group designed and which the index firm Solactive calculates and publishes. Constituents are rebalanced quarterly so that no one company grows to dominate the whole. That passive, index-tracking structure is what separates this fund from the rest of the ARK family, whose better-known offerings are actively managed bets on a handful of disruptive themes. This is a different animal: no portfolio manager picks heroes or rotates in and out, the weighting stays even across names, and the expense ratio runs lower than on its siblings' active funds. It is, in effect, the house's way of offering a broad, equal-footed slice of Israel's technology sector without the concentrated wagers its other tickers make. Launched in December 2017, the fund is part of the ARK family of themed growth products. Its day-to-day management has sat since September 2022 with William Scherer, an ARK director of operations who also runs the firm's other passive index funds. The manager's job here is administrative as much as predictive: the index does the stock picking, and the fund concentrates on tracking it faithfully.
ARK Israel Innovative Technology ETF opened new positions in Allot, Aryt Industries, Tat Technologies, Radcom, and Valens Semiconductor. It substantially increased Compugen and dramatically increased Isrotel, while trimming Similarweb, Cellcom Israel, Partner Communications, Qualitau, and Fiverr International significantly. The fund also modestly added to Check Point Software Technologies and reduced Nayax, Gilat Satellite Networks, Cyberark Software, and Bet Shemesh Engines.
