California Resources Corp

An independent energy and carbon management company headquartered in Long Beach, California, and the state's largest oil and natural gas producer. It explores for and produces crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids across California's San Joaquin, Los Angeles, Ventura, and Sacramento basins. The company was created in 2014 as a spin-off of Occidental Petroleum's California operations, and it also runs a carbon capture and storage platform called Carbon TerraVault.
