Cascadia Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) created in 2021 by an affiliate of the Seattle-based investment bank Cascadia Capital, Cascadia Acquisition Corp. was a blank-check shell that raised money to find a company to buy, focused on "Industry 4.0" fields like artificial intelligence and robotics. Its name echoes the Cascadia bioregion of the Pacific Northwest, tied to the waterfalls of the Cascades along the Columbia River. After a planned merger with wearable-tech maker RealWear fell through in early 2023, the company found no target and dissolved later that year.
