A maker and distributor of vodka and other spirits across Central and Eastern Europe, best known for Żubrówka (Bison Grass Vodka), Soplica, and Bols. Founded in 1990 by a Wisconsin dairy farmer turned trader and a Polish university student he met in the 1970s, the company grew from a small importer into one of the world's largest vodka producers. Its flagship brand takes its name from the Polish word for bison, since European bison famously graze on the aromatic grass that flavors the vodka.
