Revolution Medicines Inc
A maker of experimental medicines designed to target RAS proteins, the 'switches' that drive pancreatic, lung, and colorectal cancers — proteins long dubbed 'undruggable.' It was founded in 2014 by three chemical biologists, including the University of California scientist Kevan Shokat, whose lab cracked how to reach RAS, and was originally named Midasyn. Its employees call themselves 'Revolutionaries.'
