COAL CREEK MINING
Could not find a ticker for this position, may be a filing error
A land-management and natural-resources company based in Knoxville, Tennessee, born in 1872 when three landowners pooled disputed acreage in the Coal Creek Valley of Anderson County to settle a legal standoff. Rather than digging coal itself, it leases its land to operators working timber, coal, oil, and gas — and today it also runs Windrock Park, one of the largest privately owned off-road vehicle facilities in the country. The name simply comes from the valley where it all started.
