A tobacco holding company best known for its subsidiary Liggett Group, one of America's oldest cigarette makers, founded in St. Louis in 1873 by John E. Liggett. Its brands include Pyramid, Eve, Eagle and Grand Prix, sold mostly to smokers and discount retailers across the country.
