Yrc Worldwide Inc.
A major American freight carrier that moved "less-than-truckload" cargo — smaller shipments from many customers sharing one trailer — under brands like YRC Freight, Holland, and New Penn. It began in 1924 when Oklahoma City entrepreneur A.J. Harrell traded his taxi cabs for trucks, and later took the name YRC Worldwide after merging with Roadway in 2003. The name "Yellow" stuck from his original Yellow Cab franchise, and the company ceased operations in 2023.
