Agree Realty Corporation
A real estate investment trust that owns, develops, and manages freestanding retail properties across the United States, leasing them to everyday tenants like Wawa, Dollar General, grocery stores, and home-improvement chains under long-term triple-net leases. It was founded in 1971 by Richard Agree, an attorney who got his start building Kmart-anchored shopping centers across the Midwest and Florida. The company's name comes straight from its founder's surname.
