Agora, Inc.
A maker of software that developers drop into apps so users can talk, see, and stream to each other in real time — its SDKs power live voice and video calling, chat, and interactive broadcasts in games, classrooms, and social apps worldwide. It was founded in 2013 by Tony Zhao, a former founding engineer at WebEx and CTO of YY, who wanted to fix the laggy, choppy real-time connections on mobile networks. The name comes from the ancient Greek "agora," the public town square where people gathered to talk and trade.
