A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, founded in 2020 by Niccolo de Masi and Harry You to take a promising private technology business public. The "dMY" name is widely read as shorthand for the founders' own initials—de Masi and You. In 2021 it merged with Genius Sports Group, whose data and technology power sports leagues and broadcasters, and the combined firm began trading on the New York Stock Exchange as Genius Sports Limited.
