Agrium Inc
A Canadian maker and seller of crop fertilizers and farm inputs, Agrium produced nitrogen, phosphate, and potash products for farmers across North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. Its roots go back to 1931, when a mining company in British Columbia began turning metal-smelting byproducts into ammonia and phosphate fertilizer. Rebranded as Agrium in 1995 — a blend of "agriculture" and "nutrient" — it merged with PotashCorp in 2018 to form Nutrien, one of the world's largest crop-input companies.
