Vpc Impact Acquisition Holdings
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, created by the Chicago investment firm Victory Park Capital. Often called "blank check" companies, SPACs raise money in an initial public offering with the single goal of merging with a private business to take it public. This one did exactly that in October 2021, merging with Bakkt, a fintech platform for buying, selling, and storing cryptocurrencies, which then began trading on the New York Stock Exchange. It was one of several SPACs the firm launched to target fast-growing fintech companies.
