Dex Media Inc New

A publisher of the classic Yellow Pages and White Pages telephone directories, Dex Media helped small businesses get found, later branching into digital marketing, website design, and online listings. Its name is simply short for "directories." The company grew out of a long line of phone-book publishers dating back to the 1880s, and the modern Dex Media was born in 2013 when directory rivals Dex One and SuperMedia merged. Its business later became part of Thryv, a software company for small businesses.
