Domo, Inc.
A cloud-based software company whose platform pulls data from many systems and turns it into live dashboards, reports, and analytics that business leaders use to run their organizations. It was founded in 2010 by Josh James, the entrepreneur behind the analytics firm Omniture, and was first set up in stealth under the name Shacho before buying Corda Technologies and rebranding to Domo. The name comes from the Japanese word "dōmo" (どうも), meaning "thanks" — a nod to the fast, useful insights the platform gives customers.
