Encore Wire Corporation
A maker of copper and aluminum electrical building wire and cable, Encore Wire supplies the wiring that runs through homes, offices, and factories. It was founded in 1989 in McKinney, Texas, by two industry veterans who chose the name "Encore" because the venture was their encore performance in the wire business. In 2024 the company became a brand under Prysmian.
