A maker of minimally invasive medical devices for treating vascular disease, Endologix builds endovascular systems that doctors use to repair abdominal aortic aneurysms — most notably the AFX2 system, whose one-piece "unibody" design mimics the natural shape of the aorta. The company traces its roots to 1992 and took its current form in 2002, when Radiance Medical Systems acquired a private firm also named Endologix and adopted the name. Its name blends "endo-" (for endovascular procedures) with "-logix," and in 2020 the company emerged from a Chapter 11 reorganization as a private firm owned by Deerfield Management.
