Finserv Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, set up as a "blank check" shell whose only job was to raise money and then merge with a private financial-tech firm to take it public. It chose Katapult, an e-commerce platform offering lease-to-own purchase options for shoppers without strong credit, and the two completed their merger in June 2021, with the combined business taking the Katapult name. Its fun quirk: a SPAC starts with no products or customers of its own — just cash and a promise to find a company worth acquiring.
Class A Common Stock — Acquired by Katapult Holdings June 2021, now KPLT
