Fintech Ecosystem Development Corp
An investment vehicle known as a SPAC, or "blank check" company—a firm that raises money to buy out an existing business—created in 2021 to hunt for financial technology targets, especially in South Asia. Its name reflected its goal of weaving money-transfer, digital-lending, and mobile-wallet services into one global fintech "ecosystem." Led by Saiful Khandaker, founder of fintech developer FAMA Holdings, the company announced planned deals with Rana Financial and Afinoz that never closed, and it liquidated in 2024.
