Global Consumer Acquisition Corp
A blank-check company, or special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), formed in Delaware in 2020 to raise money from public investors and use it to buy an existing consumer-goods business. It listed on the Nasdaq in June 2021 and set its sights on acquiring home-décor maker Luminex Home Décor and GP Global, though that deal was later abandoned — the merged firm was meant to be renamed Ascense Brands. The company never completed an acquisition and instead dissolved, returning investors' money.
