Glu Mobile Inc
A maker of popular mobile games, Glu Mobile created hits like Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Deer Hunter, and the Diner Dash franchise that people played on their phones. It began in 2001 as Sorrent, and took its "glue" name in 2005 after merging with London's Macrospace — the idea being games that keep players "stuck" to their screens. In 2021, gaming giant Electronic Arts bought the company, folding it into its mobile division.
