A petroleum refiner and marketer, Alon USA Partners ran a crude-oil refinery in Big Spring, Texas, turning Permian Basin crude into gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and asphalt sold through wholesale networks. It was created in 2012 as a public partnership tied to Alon USA Energy and was later folded into Delek US Holdings. Its name is Hebrew for "oak tree," a word borrowed from the Israeli fuel company behind the venture.
