Harris Corporation
An American technology and defense contractor that made secure tactical radios, satellite payloads, night-vision gear, and networking systems for the military and public-safety agencies. It started in 1895 when two brothers who ran a jewelry store in Niles, Ohio invented an automatic sheet feeder for printing presses, launching the Harris Automatic Press Company and the first commercially successful offset lithographic press. In 2019 it merged with L3 Technologies to form L3Harris Technologies, one of the largest aerospace and defense firms in the United States.
