Hostess Brands Inc
A maker of the iconic snack cakes tucked into lunchboxes across America, Hostess produces Twinkies, Ho Hos, Ding Dongs, CupCakes, SnoBalls, and Donettes. The brand was born in 1919 when Continental Baking Company began selling packaged cakes, and Twinkies followed in 1930 after a baker noticed his strawberry-shortcake pans sat idle when berries were out of season. A fun twist: the first Twinkies were filled with banana cream, switched to vanilla during World War II rationing — and it stuck.
