Industrias Bachoco, S.a.b. De C.v.
A Mexican poultry giant that raises, processes, and sells chicken and eggs — one of the world's largest poultry producers — along with turkey, beef, and pork, plus marinated and breaded chicken items for home cooks and restaurants. Four Robinson Bours brothers started it in 1952 as a small family farm in Sonora with just a thousand laying hens. The name "Bachoco" comes from the Yaqui language and means "where the water passes through," a nod to the farm's riverbank location.
