INVESCO SENIOR INCOME TRUST
A closed-end investment fund that pools money to buy floating-rate senior secured loans made to corporations, aiming to pay out regular income to its shareholders. It was formed in 1998 and originally traded as the Van Kampen Senior Income Trust, taking its current name after Invesco acquired Van Kampen Investments in 2010. Its ticker, VVR, is a leftover from those earlier days.
