Klx Inc
A distributor of aerospace fasteners, consumables, and chemicals, KLX Inc. kept military and commercial aircraft flying by supplying the parts and supply-chain logistics that airlines and maintenance shops depend on. It was spun off from B/E Aerospace in 2014, and in 2018 Boeing bought its aerospace business (now Boeing Distribution Services), while the energy-services arm became a separate company. Fun fact: the "KLX" name has no documented acronym meaning — it was simply chosen as the brand for the new standalone firm.
