One of North America's largest truckload carriers, this Phoenix-based company moves freight across the country with a fleet of tractors and trailers. Founded in 1990 by the Knight family—who gave it their surname—it started hauling goods with a small group of trucks and grew steadily. In 2017 it merged with Swift Transportation to form Knight-Swift, creating one of the continent's biggest trucking fleets.
