A producer of vanadium, the hard metal that strengthens steel and stores energy in flow batteries. Largo digs vanadium-bearing ore from its Maracás Menchen Mine in Brazil and turns it into VPURE® and VPURE+® flakes, plus VCHARGE vanadium redox flow batteries for long-duration energy storage. Founded in 1988 as Largo Resources Ltd., the Toronto-based company renamed itself Largo Inc. in 2021 to reflect its shift from pure mining into energy storage.
