A Brazilian company that builds software for the retail trade, Linx creates point-of-sale, inventory, and store-management systems used by shops, restaurants, and other merchants across Brazil. Founded in 1985, the company's name nods to the linkage between technology and commerce. A public company on Brazil's B3 stock exchange for years, it was later acquired by a payments company and continues to serve thousands of retailers with its suite of store and e-commerce tools.
