Amplitude, Inc.
A maker of product analytics software, Amplitude helps companies track how people actually use their websites and apps, showing which features get used and where users drop off. The company began in 2012 as Sonalight, a voice-to-text Android app, but the founders built their own tool to understand user behavior and pivoted to sell it instead, renaming the company Amplitude in 2014 to reflect the depth of insight it offers. It went public on the Nasdaq exchange in 2021.
