Anaplan, Inc.
Anaplan makes cloud software that helps big companies plan everything from finances to sales and supply chains in one place, replacing scattered spreadsheets with live "what-if" modeling used by finance and operations teams. It was founded in 2006 in Yorkshire, England, when co-founder Michael Gould built its "Hyperblock" engine to handle planning data far larger than older tools could manage. Its name blends "analysis" and "planning" — and the company later moved its home to San Francisco.
