Minority Equality Opportunities Acquisition Inc
A blank-check investment company, or SPAC, created in 2021 to find, merge with, and help grow minority-owned businesses that have historically been short on capital. It was the first minority-led SPAC listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market, founded in Delaware and run from Waxahachie, Texas by Chairman and CEO Shawn D. Rochester. Its name spells out its whole purpose—Minority Equality Opportunities Acquisition—but the company dissolved in 2023 after failing to complete a merger by its deadline.
Common stock — Liquidated in July 2023 without completing business combination
