Mobile Mini Inc
A maker and leaser of portable steel storage containers and mobile offices, used by construction crews, retailers, schools, and the U.S. military. Founder Richard Bunger started the company in Phoenix in 1983 after realizing he could bring storage to customers instead of making them travel to a lot — using surplus shipping containers from the seagoing trade. The name says it all: "mobile" because the units travel, "mini" because they were smaller than permanent warehouses. In 2020 it merged with WillScot.
