Moneygram International Inc
A money-transfer company that lets people send cash across the world for pickup, bank deposit, or mobile wallet, working through a giant network of agent locations plus an app and website. Its roots trace to 1940, when Travelers Express began selling money orders through Minneapolis grocery stores and pharmacies to serve people without bank accounts; in 1998 that business merged with MoneyGram Payment Systems, born in 1988 to take on Western Union, and took the MoneyGram name. Fun fact: its original money orders were sold at the local grocery counter, and today it reaches people in hundreds of countries and territories worldwide.
