The Music Acquisition Corporation
A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" firm, created to raise money and merge with a business in the music world — from music rights to music technology. It was founded in 2020 by Neil Jacobson, a music executive who once ran Geffen Records, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021. The company never found a deal to complete and eventually wound down, returning its investors' money.
