Nebula Caravel Acquisition Corp

A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC)—a "blank check" firm created in 2020 by the private equity group True Wind Capital to raise money and merge with a private tech business, taking it public. In 2021 it merged with Rover, the online pet-care marketplace where owners book sitters and walkers, and was renamed Rover Group. Its name pairs "nebula," a cloud of gas and stars, with "caravel," the agile sailing ship that carried Age of Discovery explorers—fitting for a vessel built to navigate toward a new public listing.
