A medical device company that builds implantable spinal cord stimulators to treat chronic pain. Its Senza and HFX systems deliver a high-frequency "10 kHz Therapy" that eases pain without the tingling sensation older stimulators cause. Founded in 2006 by engineer Konstantinos Alataris, the company's name comes from the Greek word for "nerve." Its first product launched in 2015, and its devices are used by pain specialists around the world.
