Northern Genesis Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC—a "blank check" firm with no operations of its own that raises money to buy a private business and take it public. Founded in 2020 by a team focused on sustainable infrastructure, it merged in 2021 with The Lion Electric Company, a Canadian maker of all-electric school buses and trucks, which then began trading under the ticker LEV. The deal gave Lion the cash to build battery systems and a new factory.
Class A Common Stock — Acquired by Embark Trucks (now Embark Technology Inc)
