Nustar Energy LP

A major US midstream energy company that moves and stores fuels through thousands of miles of pipelines and terminal facilities across the United States and Mexico, carrying crude oil, gasoline, diesel, renewable fuels, and ammonia for refineries and distributors. It began in 2001 as Shamrock Logistics, a piece of Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, and landed with Valero Energy when that firm bought its parent. After Valero fully let go in 2006, the company took its "new star" name, NuStar, with a star in its logo — a nod to the Shamrock's own start.
