Oge Energy Corp.
A holding company that owns Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E), which generates, transmits, and sells electricity to customers across Oklahoma and western Arkansas. The utility was incorporated in 1902, five years before Oklahoma became a state, and its name simply spells out Oklahoma Gas and Electric — though it sold its gas business in 1928 and has been electric-only since. Fun fact: for half a century the company's mascot was Reddy Kilowatt, a cartoon figure made of light bulbs and lightning bolts.
