A precision oncology company developing small-molecule drugs that fix a broken "guardian of the genome." The p53 protein normally stops cancer cells from growing, but mutations disable it in many tumors; PMV's therapies, including its lead candidate rezatapopt, aim to structurally correct these mutant proteins so they work again. Founded in 2013 by scientists including Arnold Levine, who discovered p53 in 1979, the company was originally incorporated as PJ Pharmaceuticals.
