A maker of the small electronic parts tucked inside phones, cars, and networks — power transformers, magnetic chokes, connectors, and antennas for 5G and the Internet of Things. The company began in 1947 as Technitrol, founded by four engineering graduates who helped build ENIAC, the world's first electronic computer, and it held the first patent for a magnetic disk drive. In 1995 it bought Pulse Engineering and in 2010 renamed itself after that brand; since 2018 it has been part of the Yageo group.
