RICE
Rice Energy Inc
A natural gas and oil exploration company that drilled for energy in the Marcellus and Utica Shale regions of the Appalachian Basin. It was founded in 2007 by Daniel Rice III, a former BlackRock portfolio manager, and his three sons, who started the business in their mid-20s and took it public in 2014. The company was named after the Rice family, and in 2017 it was acquired by EQT Corporation, which at the time became the largest natural gas producer in the United States.
