Seaport Global Acquisition II Corp.
A blank-check company, or SPAC, formed in 2021 to find a business to merge with — specifically firms going through "transformational, transitional, or reorganizational" changes. It was an offshoot of Seaport Global, a New York capital markets firm whose name came from the 2013 merger of The Seaport Group and Global Hunter Securities. Its planned deal with American Battery Materials fell through, and the company wound down in late 2023.
