Total Return Securities Fund
Traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SWZ, this closed-end investment fund pools money to build a portfolio of stocks, corporate bonds, and other credit instruments across many industries and regions. It began in 1986 as The Swiss Helvetia Fund, focused on Swiss companies, and was renamed Total Return Securities Fund in 2025 after broadening its strategy. The old name honored Helvetia, the robed woman who serves as Switzerland's national symbol.
