An investment manager offering a lineup of actively managed exchange-traded funds, or ETFs, that let everyday investors buy baskets of stocks and bonds. The firm traces back to 1937, when Thomas Rowe Price Jr. founded T. Rowe Price in Baltimore after his idea of investing in growing companies was turned down by his old employer. Founder and firm share the same name, and Price earned the nickname the "father of growth investing."
